Have you ever loaned your car to your teenage son? I did and quite a few things happened to my car that I wasn't expecting. Lisa found that the brakes were almost metal to metal and the front rotors were warped from hard braking. The tires were worn and needed to be replaced. My guess is my son had a great time driving the hell out of my car. Each and every time I bring my car to Dave's Auto Repair I am treated with respect and honesty. I'm given options that fit my financial schedule and keep my vehicle safe to drive. I am so thankful Lisa and her technicians are there to help. Thank you for all the hard work on my car!

Finally saw Lisa at Dave's after years going to other shops nearby. Lisa saved us money by ordering the timing belt kit on-line. She communicates well and educated us on what else to keep an eye on for our 12 year old vehicle.

I brought my car to Dave’s Auto Repair to find the coolant leak and fix it. They quickly found the issue after running a pressure test and found cracks in a part that holds 3 hoses which was causing the leaks. They had it replaced quickly. They even fixed my windshield wiper fluid, which wasn’t coming out free of charge. I enjoyed working with Lisa and felt I can trust her which is something I have been looking for in an Auto shop. She even showed me the cracks in the broken part. I definitely recommend Dave’s Auto Repair and will be back.

Trusting someone to work on your car is not easy. I will always trust Lisa to tell me how it is, to be honest and to work with me to figure out the best time to do the work. Lisa is proactive, letting me know when I need brakes, new tires, or if something else may be happening . I'm glad I have Dave's Auto Repair as my automotive repair shop. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

In life, you need a good lawyer, a good plumber and a good mechanic...not necessarily in that order BUT, I trust my truck will be taken care of at Dave's. Lisa explains EVERYTHING and knows what she's talking about. I suggest you get a good permanent mechanic you can trust with your precious wheels! After having a mechanic for over twenty years in SF, I needed a new one where I live now. Located in the small town of Pinole, the shop has a friendly, family feel and the place is CLEAN.
